Although we publish and maintain our own portfolio of configurable off-the-shelf applications we are primarily an independent software consultancy.

Therefore, where our standard applications do not meet a sufficient percentage of your requirements, we will offer to write a bespoke software solution specifically for your business.

Generally, if you can find an existing off-the-shelf product that does meet a very high percentage of your requirements, then this option would be better than writing a bespoke application. However, that is not always the case and a bespoke solution will obviously give you an additional set of choices.

Just to let you know. Before we take on any bespoke programming project, we will always recommend that you pay us a small fee to conduct a detailed search to see if there is already an off-the-shelf alternative. We really don’t think you should be trying to re-invent the wheel!
